Bioinformatics Specialist
Position Code: SC10092
You will work in a dynamic multi-disciplinary team and collaborate with other bioinformaticians and biologists so as to develop and implement algorithmic/analytical pipelines to address biological questions via high throughput data analysis and interpretation.

Requirements
- A Master’s/Bachelor’s Degree in Bioinformatics, Statistics or Computer Science or any relevant scientific/engineering/mathematical discipline

Proficient in Java/C or C++ is a plus

Knowledge of Perl/Bioperl, shell scripts will be beneficial

Familiarity with databases, Oracle and mySQL, and statistical computing programs, R and Matlab, would be useful

Working experience with biological data, data analysis (especially microarray data analysis), phylogenetic or data mining is an advantage

Must be a good team player
