Overview
The Genome Institute of Singapore is a well-funded research organization that is focused on applying integrative biology addressing questions pertinent in biomedicine. The collaborative scientific research environment at GIS is highly conducive for training the next generation of scientists working in system biology using integrative approaches. Our graduate programmes are project driven and are supervised by our outstanding faculty. GIS seeks graduate students who would like to learn and apply multidisciplinary approaches in modern genomics to understand and explore the intersection between basic biology and medicine.
GIS does not administer its own Ph.D. program but does provide quality training to young talents in areas that are consonant with the research focus of the GIS. Strong links have been established between GIS and top graduate programs within Singapore and overseas to provide Ph.D. students the opportunity to study at GIS. Below are listed Ph.D. programs that are affiliated with the GIS.
