RESEARCH FOCUS

Modeling biological processes such as transcription and cell division is an important step towards predictive biology. It is greatly facilitated by the availability of data generated by several high-throughput technologies such as sequencing, microarrays and PET that measure a variety of quantities related to different biological processes at genomic scale. However, the modeling of biological processes is highly dependent on the understanding and appropriate modeling of such a data and integrating the multitude of information. Hence, we work towards three broad objectives: (1) modeling biological processes; (2) biomarker discovery; and (3) modeling and analysis of genome-scale biological data.
